Staff Presentation / Visit

If you would like to learn more about the resources available to borrow from membership with Learning Resources HUB (LRH) please do not hesitate to get in touch.

We can come along to your school and give a presentation for your staff, perhaps during a staff meeting, or you can come to our Resource Centre. 

We also offer virtual staff presentations, using MSTEAMS or Zoom if you prefer. 

If you are new to LRH we can take the opportunity to answer any questions you may have about our service and discuss how we can support you.

Library Advisory Service

Reading is central to the Government’s Plan for Change: it supports success in school, work and in life, boosts wellbeing, brings people together and increases empathy.

Sadly, many of your pupils may not have many (or any) books at home. And with decades of research continually demonstrating the life-changing impact that reading for pleasure has on a child’s educational development, health and well-being, personal growth and future prospects (no matter their starting point in life) your school library really matters!

• audit your book stock - removing old, tired, damaged and out of date information books and unfriendly, unappealing fiction
• plan your space - looking at displays, shelving, signage and layout for example
• classify stock - using our primary school friendly Dewey system, InfoTracker
